Intercom. A complete system for human and AI customer service.

As a design engineer at Intercom, I work at the intersection of design and engineering, turning marketing and product ideas into polished, performant web experiences. I’ve helped evolve how the web team works through design systems, shared packages and tools that make it easier for designers, marketers and engineers to collaborate and ship together.

A large part of my work has been modernising intercom.com, a mature legacy codebase that had grown organically over many years. I’ve improved its foundations to make it more consistent, maintainable and easier to build on, introducing Intercom’s design tokens and typography system and establishing shared patterns across the site.

I’ve also led the engineering of key experiences, including various full rebrands and key marketing campaigns, taking them from initial scaffold through design review to launch, with a focus on craft, accessibility and performance.
